Atlas Coal Mine National Historic Site (May 2021 to Sept. 2021)
Maintained a 90 year old mining locomotive, tested and maintained 140 lead-acid cells as well as troubleshooting the locomotive’s control system and a kilometre of track.
Communicated current conditions of historic equipment to other staff and management through regular reports to ensure safe tours, and maintain historical records.
Operated the locomotive, providing safe educational tours for over 4000 guests.
